(1 day ago) Form: Necked jar with a broad zone delimited by a groove and cordons at the base of the neck and a second one at the shoulder. S-shaped or slightly carinated profile, with a rounded projecting lip. Decorated on the shoulder zone with a continuous band of vertical lines or (rarely) a continuous zone of burnished lattice (e.g. 1537).This is the standard Highgate jar form of phase 3.
