Heavy pixelation on some channels/shows? | AVForums

Different channels use different levels of compression, so it may be more noticeable on some channels/programmes than others. I notice that ITV 2 for example is pretty bad for this via Freeview on our kitchen TV. Pixelation is usually a lot less noticeable on CRT TVs than LCDs.

A/V Dropouts & pixelation with certain channels

Cable provider is Fios & I am using a Roamio. On certain (but not all) channels, I am receiving audio/video drop outs & pixelation. The signal strength for these channels is in the high 80's (last time I checked 87) so I don't know what the issue can be.

Certain Channels "Stuttering"/Pixelating : Comcast

The majority of channels come in perfectly clear. USA, CNN, and AMC are unwatchable though do to stuttering/pixelation. I'm not sure if there are more channels that have this issue, but these are the ones I've noticed.

Video pixelation on certain HD channels - TV - TV Forum

I've checked all the connections, changed some cables, and it's improved a little bit, but there's still some minor pixelation on those channels I mentioned earlier (1004, 1044), but not as bad as before. So is it a bad cable that I have? Or is it something else?

How to Troubleshoot a Pixelated TV Image | Frontier.com

Loose connections are often the cause. Unplug and reconnect the coaxial connections between your Set-Top Box and your TV and your wall connection. When you plug them back in, make sure all connections are secure. This is also a good time to inspect the coaxial cable for any obvious damage which could cause a loss in your signal strength.

pixelation on certain HD channels | DBSTalk Community

I have two HR-20s. One works fine and the other has pixelation problems - 2 separate problems: Problem #1 I have heavy pixelation on certain HD channels (tbshd, history hd, etc.). Other hd channels are fine (thoses in the 70 channel range, locals and some of those new ones in the higher ranges).
